Homemade Fried Rice
Easy and delicious Fried Rice
The trick to making vegetable fried rice mouth watering good and crunchy is bacon fat! This is a simple recipe your whole family will love!

- In a pot, cook 2 cups of rice. Set aside.
- In a large cast iron skillet, cook 8oz of bacon. Remove bacon fat into a heat safe vessel and set the cooked bacon aside.
- In the same skillet, add sesame oil, onions, peas, carrots, string beans and cook until tender.
- Move the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add your eggs to the other side. scramble them slowly and then mix into the vegetables once they are cooked.
- Add the rice to the mixture and add the soy sauce slowly. Then slowly add bacon fat to the rice mixture and let it fry, slowly stirring.
- Add to a bowl, garnish with green onions and enjoy!
