This is like seriously the best lasagna ever! You have to try this if you are a serious lasagna lover - Note that you can actually make this meat sauce for any pasta dish! Enjoy!

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large dutch oven, cook the ground beef and sausage together, using a mashed potato smasher to tenderize. Add onions and garlic and cook until the meat is brown.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Add the pasta sauce, season everything with parsley, 21 salute seasoning and fennel seeds. Mix well with the smasher and let simmer for about 30 minutes to an hour.
- In a large pot, boil water and cook lasagna noodles. Drain and set aside. (TIP: to keep from sticking run the noodles under cold water)
- Mix the ricotta cheese, egg, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 1/2 teaspoon parsley together in a dish and set aside.
- Assemble: in the Botton of a baking dish add a layer of meat sauce, then add a layer of noodles. Spread the ricotta mixture on the noodles and cover with half mozzarella and parmesan. Repeat these layers until the dish is full.
- For the last layer cover the noddles with ricotta then 1 cup of mozzarella and 1 cup of parmesan cheese. Pack it down and sprinkle with parsley.
- Spray olive oil on a piece of foil, cover the lasagna and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool for 30 before serving!
